Landlord Tenant Law

Faris and Faris offers comprehensive landlord-tenant services.  We represent both landlords and tenants in eviction (forcible entry and detainer) actions, lease agreement drafting, and other landlord-tenant disputes.  

Under the Ohio Revised Code, both landlords and tenants must operate in compliance with a series of laws governing landlord-tenant situations. 

If you are a landlord, contact our office prior to beginning an eviction action against a tenant to ensure that you have complied with all notice, service, and other requirements.  If you do not comply with these requirements, your case may be dismissed.  We can also review your rental agreements and keep you up to date with any changes in landlord-tenant law.

If you are a tenant who is facing the possibility of eviction, contact our office before the landlord's eviction action against you is granted.  We will analyze your case and do everything we can to keep you in your home.
